Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow
Last minute arrangements
Allowed me to go to a concert
That was last night
It was incredible and out of sight
The Rankin Family
Were the ones I was to see
I was in my prime
A night to unwind
Their voices, clear
At the end, we all cheered
It was a lot of fun
It saddened me when they were done
I had this opportunity
To let loose and be free
Thanks to Paula
I had a ball
Today was mellow
I had my highs and lows
My candle's lit
Right now, I sit
I'm somewhat relaxed
Resting my back
I stare into the flame
It is bright and tame
Sometimes, I like to be alone
I know, at me, people groan
A time to reflect
Away from people, I take my break
People, sometimes, feel they must be around
To make sure, I don't frown
To keep up my spirits high
Only I can allow myself to fly
Being sad
Isn't all that bad
Helps me to heal me
Help me, better to see
That day is coming up
That day of the break up
I don't know how I'll be
I guess we will soon see
I think about tomorrow's events
I hope it won't be tense
Just to enjoy it fully
And maybe, it will be silly
Well, I gots to go
Maybe, I'll write tomorrow
